Post Where to buy MoW now?
So I finally came back to NWN and played SoZ. (Which, despite a really clunky start, might have been my favorite of the series. The overland map was really quite a blast.)

Is there a place which legitimately sells MoW still? I can't find it at Atari or D2D. Gamersgate is selling it but I've never bought anything from them before. Anyhow - if I get a copy from Gamersgate, will it still work? Or is there some other place to get one without buying the mega-anthology? (I saw the one on amazon which includes MoW, but I literally own 2 copies of the rest of NWN2 - all the boxed games, plus I bought a cheap sale copy on Steam just for the convenience of not having to dig around for discs; didn't really want a third, let alone one with a disc.)

Hi mattw,

I was rather surprised to see that MoW is no longer for sale at Atari after I went to their site. All of NWN2 is in fact gone (and probably for good). It must be some kind of contractual thing with Hasbro.

GamersGate is legitimate and seems decent enough, and they may be the last place that you can still buy MoW outside of a compilation. I recommend picking it up there.

I just checked GamersGate and they are no longer selling MoW. Do you know of anywhere else I can pick a copy of the game?

Thanks,

George

Hi GeorgeG,

Actually, GamersGate does still have MoW. Check out this link:

I’m not sure if any other online stores still offer MoW (aside from in the NWN2 bundle). Those that used to no longer do, including Atari itself.
